The food was awesome, I came in for lunch and had the prime rib melt with fresh morrells. It was a great portion and was cooked perfectly w the cheese gooing in with the fresh earthy morrells.The down side is that it took 1/2 hour to get to the table and as I sit here writing, waiting for my check it's been 1:20 since I sat down. Maybe not the best choice for lunch?

I'll start by saying BEST food in CDA. Had no reservation but were immediately offer a seat and to eat in the lounge (we're lounge kinda people). Grabbed it and so glad we did! Josselyn, our server was upbeat, obviously liked/loved her job (rare these days for a Millennial) and helped make our evening! Try the Bison Carpaccio and the Heirloom Tomato Caprese Salad. Filet was excellent. The only complaint? And not even worth messing with the 5 stars? The bathrooms are HELL to find. Will go here again, and again...and again!

Overall great experience. 1) the view of the lake is fantastic 2) very impressive wine menu and drink list. 3) staff was extremely friendly The food: we had escargot, onion soup and a Caesars salad, all were top notch. The only 5 Star restaurant in Couer d'Alene makes you feel special the second you get off of the 7th floor elevator of the beautiful Couer d'Alene Resort. [cdaresort.com] We had a beautiful seating facing the lake at sunset and TWO FANTASTIC waiters (Thank you Greg & Will) working hard to serve our every need. We were blown away by our delicious steak brochette appetizer and 3 accompanying specialty dipping options (bernaise sauce, cabernet reduction, & smoked truffle salt) but, nothing could compare to our AMAZING entrees: Ahi & Halibut. WOW! We discussed wine pairing for our main dishes and Greg brought out the wine steward Sam-- who was incredibly proud of "the largest wine selection" of the Inland empire, and he was very knowledgeable! We received a wonderful bottle of wine that both complimented & enhanced our meal. To top off the evening, rockstar Chef de Cuisine Tyler Schwenk came and sat with us! He was gracious as we regaled him with compliments and he shared recipes and both his passion & search for the best he could cook. Super impressive young chef! We loved everything about Beverly's and it is deserving of the highest accolades & recognition it receives for its service, ambiance, food quality, preparation, taste, & enjoyment. We are looking forward to the next time we travel back across the Northwest, if only to land at Beverly's again!

Planned a special dinner here after a week of vacation in the Northwest. Waiter forgot our order and had to return and get it again. Door to a private deck behind our table kept opening which caused a major windstorm at our table about every five minutes. Manager sat at a booth behind us on his laptop during the meal. When a waitress slid in next to him to complain about her being assigned to an upcoming wedding I walked out. Waiter couldn't figure out what the problem was. Good food but this not a five star experience by any stretch of the imagination.

We come up here every summer from California to visit family and we always make it a point to come in to Beverly's at least twice. Unbelievable view of the lake, absolutely beautiful, excellent service and really good food, also a nice selection for drinks

It was a very beautiful location and a great family dinner location. The sourdough rolls were good. The orange rolls are good if you feel like starting with dessert. I wasn't in the mood at the time. I enjoyed the huckleberry lemon drop. It was great. The bison was good as was the tempura prawns. The calamari was just ok. The Beverly signature fillets were very good as was the scallops but I wished more scallops were included and I wasn't a big fan of the sides. The lobster mac was good not great but the German chocolate cake was fabulous! The Szechwan carrot soup was the highlight for me and one of the best soups i have ever had.

Beautiful venue. Overlooking Lake Coeur d'alene, it's fine dining at its Northwest best. Our waiter was highly interested in our happiness. I wish I could remember his name (Fred?). He bent over backwards to get us some Lobster Bisque. I wasn't that impressed with it. It had little lobster (yes, I know its a bisque, but I like chunks in mine.) The main thing is that it was finished with way to much truffle oil. We started with that and Beverlys Calamari. One of the best Calamari I've had. It had a delightful seasoning salt and what I though was a light fish sauce dressing on it. Absolutely fabulous. I chose the Wedge Salad with a Grilled Scallop & Prawn Brochette. Scallops and and prawns were cooked perfectly, although I could have used a little more seasoning or some butter on them. Iceberg lettuce of course topped with Peppered Smoked Bacon, Blue Cheese, Grape Tomatoes, Candied Pecans, Red Onion, Toasted Sunflower Seeds, Green Onions, and House Roquefort Dressing. Grama (yes there is no d) had the Pacific Northwest Crab Melt Crab with Artichoke, Cream Cheese, Melted Cheddar, Fall Greens, & Lemon Garlic Aioli. Lovely she said. My mom had the Honolulu Fish Company #1 Sashimi Grade Ahi Tuna Black, Sesame Crusted with Jasmine Rice, Daikon Radish Sprouts, Pickled & Candied Ginger, Wasabi Aioli, & Soy Syrup. It was the first piece of rare fish for her. It looked fab, but she wasn't crazy about the texture. But that's a preference thing. I thought it looked amazing. Staffed with lots of beautiful young people, some more interested in taking our starting into space, it didn't effect the quality of our meal since we were well taken care of by our waiter. Gonna bring the hubby here next time and maybe stay in the hotel.

Beverly's was the location of our nice dinner for my boyfriend's birthday this past weekend. All the signs made it seem like the no-brainer best option: high-end steakhouse menu, great wine selection, best view in Coeur d'Alene...but in the end we were underwhelmed. We ordered the bison carpaccio for an appetizer, scallops and filet mignon for entrees, and got a free cotton candy/ice cream dessert for the birthday boy. The carpaccio was served with bread (which they forgot and had to bring later) and a whipped horseradish. I was excited about the idea because I love a little bit of spice, but I could barely discern any horseradish and felt like I was eating whipped butter with the under-seasoned Bison. The entrees were not warm when they came out, and the filet was overcooked (likely as a result of sitting too long as it waited to come out). They did take both entrees back and re-did them, but by then we were already a bit disillusioned by the whole ordeal. I think the best part of the main meal were the mashed potatoes on the side. I will definitely say that the cotton candy dessert is the most unique dessert I've seen, but I'm not a sugar lover and even though the bf is, it was sugar overload. In the end, I'm glad we had a chance to go to the resort because its views are second to none (unless you're on the actual lake). But if I were to pick a special birthday restaurant again, I'd go with The Cellar or another restaurant in town.

Truly a 5 star restaurant. The staff is just on top of their game. Arrived 20 min early for our reservations ( on a crowded weekend) NO WORRIES, some quick adjustments were made and we were promptly seated. Service was very prompt and polite. I swear, as soon as our forks were placed on the table in between each course, it took them no longer than 30 seconds to clear our plates. They walk around offering fresh bread ( I love warm bread and butter) you must try the signature orange glazed rolls. Oh. My. God. To die for. We ordered the kobe burger- juiciest burger I've had in a while. Served with killer fries Lobster bisque soup - while I personally don't like lobster, my husband finished off his bowl in mere seconds French onion soup - hands down the best french onion soup on the planet. I order this everywhere I go and now I feel I will be forever disappointed anywhere else I eat it. Nothing can possibly be better Filet mignon -pure tender juicy perfection I'm so full...but pleasantly so. You must try this place

This is a nice restaurant on the resort. It featured beautiful views of the lake. They had an incredible three course dinner selection for only $28 if you arrive before 7pm. I imagine this deal is available only during the week. The service was attentive and friendly. Their wine list was so extensive that they had iPads for their list instead of a book. They have their own wine cellar and offer tours! I selected the three course meal, because it was an incredible deal and was cheaper than most of the dinner menu items! I started off with a Caesar Salad. It was perfection. They used Caesar dressing and oil. My entree was a huge portion of Salmon Oscar which was delicious. For dessert the chocolate raspberry dish. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.

Fantastic! Resort casual attire but 5 star food with views of the lake and attentive staff. From fantastic Martinez and even Pimms Cup in the lounge to beautifully played meals that taste as good as they look. The men yes light up and the wine lust is on an iPad. One of my favorite meals the entire stay in Coeur d'Alene! Service was impeccable. And the food was divine! Started off with a couple bottles of reds suggested by the sommelier. I'm not a huge wine drinker, but these were beyond amazing. Though the table was hesitant, we were urged by the waitress to try the bison carpaccio. So tasty. And that whipped horseradish foam was spectacular and so unexpectedly delicious! The crab cakes were equally yummy. I had a lobster bisque which was very rich and tasty with lots of lobster bits. For the main course I had the pan seared scallops with grilled veggies and a cauliflower mash. Very yummy. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side and I could have had more cauliflower. But overall a great experience!

Went to Beverly's for lunch today. The view was beautiful and is one of the nicest in town. The service is great and the staff are very friendly. My friend ordered black coffee and the presentation is the fanciest I have ever seen for a cup of coffee. Definitely the 5 star environment but the food was lacking a 5 star taste. I ordered the Cesar Salad with Salmon. It was kind soggy and there were a few pieces of brown lettuce that weren't even edible. My salmon was extremely fishy tasting and I actually left most of it behind. My sourdough roll was hard and stale. I was really looking forward to lunch here but left extremely disappointed. I have visited other times for both lunch and dinner and have had a better experience.

I have eaten here several times for both lunch and dinner. It is one of the few places where every single cent spent is well worth it. An immaculate eating area, impeccable service, and food that is amazing. The best thing about this place is that they have a lunch menu that is very reasonably priced (similar to places like Applebee's or Chili's or Red Robin), but with the quality of food you would never find in those places. I was recently there was a work group, and I had the lamb gyro. AMAZING!!! Lamb can be gamey if not cooked correctly, but this was perfect. The tzaziki sauce was crisp and delightful, and the fries complemented the gyro. As usual, the service was excellent, and I walked away with a tab similar to what I would've found at Red Robin but with food that could only be found at a top-notch restaurant. Dinner can be pricey, but it is well worth it. However, if you are not ready to shell out the bucks for dinner, definitely try lunch, as it is easier on the wallet. We will be back here again.

My wife and I stayed at the resort for our anniversary, so we figured we had to try Beverly's. The restaurant is really beautiful with great views of the lake, and the staff is extremely pleasant. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. We started the meal with lobster mac & cheese, which was quite good. Our main courses, however, left something to be desired. My wife had the halibut, which was somewhat overcooked, and definitely under-spiced. I ordered the lamb, requesting medium-rare. It came out medium, almost well-done. When I mentioned this to my waiter, he told me that lamb is never pink, and never has a bloody center. This stands in stark contrast to every other time I've had a great piece of lamb. They were very gracious about the issue, and did prepare two more pieces for me. This time it came out blue. The lamb did come with a mint gastric that almost saved the mail, but not quite. For dessert we had three different types of sorbet and ice cream: Malibu rum and coconut, uncle Barry sorbet, and citrus sorbet. The dessert was quite good. Overall, we felt the food was much too expensive and not that well done. The saving grace was the friendly waitstaff and the ambience.

We had a really amazing dinner on Saturday night. It was my bday dinner with my wife and kids. Also, it was our waiter, Cory's, bday which was a cool coincidence. The meal was truly first-rate and we are all foodies. Brought our own wine (2008 Quilceda Creek Cab) and they happily served that to us. Yes, the view was amazing, but we felt that the food, service and vibe certainly matched it. It was a 5-star night. Highly recommend.

We had a reservation for two at 6:45 and were seated at 7pm. The table we were assigned was a small temporary table very near the kitchen. The location was fine but the table was very unstable with the table top easily rotating 6-8 inches with a small bump. For this reason we decided not to order an entrée that required cutting with a knife because we thought our wine & water might spill when we tried to cut a steak, for example. We started with appetizers of bison carpaccio and escargot and both were well presented with great tastes. My date ordered scallops and I ordered Chilean sea bass for our entrees. We also ordered a side of the scalloped potatoes and the mushroom risotto. My date loved her scallops and I agreed they were great after trying them. The scalloped potatoes and risotto were also excellent. Unfortunately, the Chilean sea bass was far below my expectations, so much so that I couldn't eat more than two bites. My date took a bite and agreed that it just didn't taste good. The fish had been cut into thin strips and fried which gave it the appearance of fish sticks. The taste was also very fishy, something that is very rare for Chilean sea bass. Typically, Chilean sea bass is served as a thick cut of flaky, white fish with little or no fishy taste. I'm not sure what happened to my dish, but it's obviously something I wouldn't order again. Although I live in Nashville TN, I visit CDA quite often and have dined at Beverly's many times over the past several years. This meal was by far my worst experience. I did advise our server that I wouldn't recommend that dish to anyone. I try to provide honest feedback when my meals exceed or fall short of my expectations.

So we made a reservation.... For party of 9... Good is taking forever! Come to find out there a meeting in a board room or a board meeting? Guess that's why it's taking so long. Point is we have been filling up on bread and drinks for the past 40 minutes... Time is around 12:00 on a Saturday. (Update "50" minutes.). Very friendly and accommodating staff though . This resort restaurant is the closets you will get to 5 star dining in the area... Although it's lacking in a few aspects I.e. Tucked away in a corner of the resort and the outsmarted hallway down the hall. So basically you have to leave the restaurant and walk down the hall to go to bathroom?... Something I would fix.

Beverly's is trying hard to be a high end restaurant and I think for the area it probably is, but compared to other restaurants I've dined at, this one falls a little short. It has a very friendly staff and good service, and an excellent wine list, but the food lacked flavor. The charcuterie appetizer was fun, though, filled with quail prosciutto, bison sausage and elk jerky and all was very flavorful. But the chicken oscar was just so-so and the asparagus and mashed potatoes had no flavor. The dining room itself is due for a remodel but I still enjoyed my evening there because of the beautiful views of the lake and friendly service.

Worst salad and appetizer I have ever had. We had the bison and red candy stripe salad. Lacked flavors and what flavor it did have, they did not blend well. Too much goat cheese on the salad and wilted greens. The horseradish "foam" lacked heat and the bread tasted old. The only thing you're paying for is the ambiance. I would not come back unless it was strictly for drinks during happy hour.

We (my wife and I and our out of town guests) went there for dinner and were surprised how unimpressive it was! We had a reservation, arrived right on time, and had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Strike 1. In the meantime, they shuffled us into the lounge where each person played the 20 question game to place a simple order of 3 drinks and a bottle of beer. Strike 2. Once we finally got to our table, the young lady who greeted us was very pleasant and actually the best part of the experience, even though she was just charged with filling our water glasses and clearing the dishes. The waiter finally came to the table and had an attitude right off the bat - we all looked at each in amazement and silently decided this dude was not going to spoil our evening. We ordered a bottle of wine - but the wine steward came over to tell us they were out of that wine and offered "his choice" for us. What? How can a place like the almighty Beverly's be out of wine? The wine list is as thick as a novel, how can this be? "His choice" is not what was ordered, so no wine for us. Strike 3. Well, as eyeryone knows, 3 strikes you are out, but we stayed, again, deciding that we are going to make the best of this. We enjoyed the Christmas lights adorning the docks and the occasional visit from the young lady filling our water glasses, while we waited for our food. The food was okay, certainly far from being great. The fish was "fishy" and the steaks were tough. Half of our dinners were boxed up and brought home for the dog. We didn't stick around for dessert - we had had enough by that time. Let's save the next 3 hour tour for a boat ride, not an unpleasant experience at Beverly's.

We went to this restaurant primarily due to the fact that they have the largest wine selection supposedly in the whole Pacific Northwest. I did the Syrah wine flight which was quite good. The grenache was superb and the wine flight really adds up closer to 2 glasses of wine rather than just the typically thirds equating to one glass. So the wine flights are really a good value. Their entrees were prepared well and had exhibited a decent amount of creativity and diversity in the presentation and flavors. I had their wild salmon special which was excellent under the tasty ancho lime butter. The service we received was top-notch from the bussing to the serving. The only downside to the place is that it does feel like a typical hotel restaurant. The decor is stuck in the mid 90's but the view of the lake helps you forget that. Honestly, if they just updated their chairs and tables it would make such a difference to making the place seem more updated.

This place is out of our regular dining budget, but we decided to splurge one day and went up there and had an absolutely amazing experience. Usually when we splurge and go somewhere fancy, we are underwhelmed and agree that it's not worth the price. In this case, Beverly's was absolutely worth it. From the bison carpaccio to the amazing tuna and wine list, I highly recommend. The service was also great and you can't go wrong with that view!

Beautiful view and the bison carpaccio was amazing but... In the middle of our conversation, while enjoying the delicious bison and jumbo prawn and crab appetizers, the server showed up with our entrees and took away our appetizer plates and forks and left the appetizer dishes. I would've expected better timing from such a higher scale and pricier establishment... We found it odd that a couple sitting in booth who had been ordered about five minutes before us was still enjoying their appetizers when we started into our lukewarm grilled prime rib and lobster... Honestly, there was no way that we were having a marathon of an appetizer course... Maybe 30 minutes into our martini, then bread, then wine and appetizers when our forks and plates were taken away. I think the worse part was when the server rolled her eyes and seemed annoyed when we tried to explain that we would like to get some appetizer forks and plates to finish our appetizers, which was clearly only about half done. The manager came out to apologize (probably because the server mentioned something) and said that they would credit the appetizers, which was nice. All in all, great food (5 stars) and view (5 stars) but the service (at least our server, 2 stars, kinda saved by the mgr coming out) was a bit uncomfortable and lacking.

My wife and I went for restaurant week. We have been there many times before. I had the ceasar salad, steelhead and a great dessert. I wood order the same again off the main menu. However, my wife had the lobster corndogs, chicken and a great dessert. Everything was good except the lobster corndogs--- greasy and no hint of lobster. They should never have been on a menu at a place like Beverly's

My boyfriend and I were just there last night for Valentine's Day dinner and I have to say it was outstanding! Our waiter Chase, was SO helpful and knew his stuff!!! He was on top of it. We had Escargot, caesar salad, steak, wine, etc. I don't have one bad thing to say about this place! I am sure there were some disappointed people, but on a busy night like that you can't have too many expectations. The staff handled it well.

What a nice surprise at Beverly's for ordering wine.Instead of a HUGE book of all the wines that took for ever to look through they have gone to an IPAD instead.Now looking for wines, red,white,dessert etc,price point ,varietal,region, it's all done with a push of a button an it's fun!!! What a view! Went to Beverly's for lunch on a weekday and the restaurant had a good size crowd, but we still managed to get a window table. The restaurant has mulitiple levels so I guess every seat in the room offers a great view of the lake. We started with Fried Calamari - nicely seasned, served with crispy rice noodles and two dipping sauces. The Prawn Cocktail came with three large pieces, but the wasabi cocktail sauce was the best part. We were offered a platter of assorted breads and we chose their signature Orange Bread - Wow... flaky rolls doused in a sticky citrus sauce. Yum. We ordered the Snake River Farms Kobe Beef Burger served with house-made pickles, French fries (in a copper pot), smoked bacon and aged Hook's cheddar cheese (very sharp flavor). We ordered it medium, but it came well done (it was still juicy). The Tempura Halibut, their version of fish n' chips was served with fresh fruit, French fries (again, in a copper pot) and two sauces. The Alaskan halibut was fresh and the batter was nice and crispy, but not greasy. Service was great. Our server was on point and very pleasant. Oh, one nice touch - the busser comes to your table and offers you a choice of lemon, lime or cucumber for your iced water.

My husband and I had dinner at Beverly's in the lounge. We know there was a beautiful view outside from previous visits but tonight it was dark and pouring rain. Jonathan was our bartender and server. The food was very good. I had the french onion soup which was excellent. My husband had the filet steak with a loaded baked potato. He loved it! What topped it off was our dessert. We ordered a huckleberry sorbet and Jonathan brought a sorbet trio along with a beautiful crown of blue spun cotton candy with vanilla ice-cream and a candle inside. The whole thing glowed and was the most beautiful, fun dessert I've ever had!! Thank you Jonathan for a very nice evening.

Both times that we've been out to Coeur d'Alene, we have dined at Beverly's. I think our favorite item on the menu is the french onion soup w/ gruyere cheese. Soooo yummy!!! We didn't think our entrees were as flavorful, our second visit - but the atmosphere, the view, the wait staff and the extensive wine list, all make for a lovely dining experience! ...and their signature orange rolls are a hit!

Back in the 80s, my Dad worked as a food and beverage executive for hotel chains such as Hilton and Sheraton. Before you scoff, Wolfgang Puck consulted for Hilton before he opened Spago's. While the food wasn't cutting edge, all of these hotels had "occasion" restaurants that were known as places to have high end cuisine with excellent service in an attractive setting. From the slightly outdated menu, to the decor, to the service, Beverly's reminds me A LOT of those old school hotel restaurants. It's a fantastic place to go for a special occasion because they bend over backwards to make the experience feel special. Given how bad service can be in Idaho (everyone is friendly but attention to detail can fall by the wayside), I was particularly impressed by how well versed our waiter was on the menu and the care that was taken with every detail of service (beverages refilled, dirty plates removed right away, all the little things that can often be overlooked). I took my parents here as a Mother's Day treat (but on Saturday not Sunday because I'm not a masochist) and we were all pleasantly surprised. We all had seafood entrees and our food was perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients. As I mentioned before, the menu is slightly dated but if you're expecting cutting edge fine dining you've obviously not had much dining experience in Idaho. While I would never consider this restaurant if I were in, say, Los Angeles, I'll definitely be coming back here for special occasions. It may not offer the sensory cocoon of beauty and luxury that a truly world class restaurant provide but I'd say it gets the closest to it that I've had since moving to Idaho.

There are few restaurants in the world where a dinner is actually worth over one hundred dollars -- perhaps well over -- but Beverly's is one. This restaurant offers very good food, a stupendous wine list and attentive service in very pleasant surroundings with a stunning seventh-floor view of Lake Coeur d'Alene. If you cannot afford a dinner, go for lunch. You'll pay sixty or seventy dollars for two and you'll be glad you did.

Excellent meal at Beverly's! We were at the resort for our anniversary and we started with the Oysters Rockefeller. These were outstanding. I could eat several plates of these. I had the scallops which were cooked very well and came in a rich sauce. Also, very well prepared. My husband had the filet. He loved it. We got a side of mac and cheese too which was so tasty. Just a great experience and excellent food. We will be back.

The steak was mediocre at best, for the price. Our server seemed non existent for the most part, and we even had to flag someone else down after seated for 20 mins, and ask her to please tell our server we would like to order. He never checked on us, wasn't rude, but wasn't polite either,,, just going through the motions. He sure perked up and got super friendly when he brought the check though.... that's why he got the $1 tip. Not going back.... I've been there a few times, and it's just not worth the price. If you really want a great steak and good service, head on out to Wolf Lodge or even Texas Roadhouse.... at least you will leave there with a smile.

For our honeymoon, we did a road trip through the Pacific Northwest, which included a stop at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. So as everyone's mentioned: the view, the view, the view. It was a classy white tablecloth kind of place yet not stuffy. The Caesar salad was flavorful, light and satisfying. However, the real star of the show is their signature orange rolls served when you sit down. That first bite may be one of my most favorite bites in my whole life. For one, it completely took me by surprise. I thought I was biting into a rudimentary croissant, and then BAM! Yummy goodness overload. Sweet and citrusy, flaky and gooey. And I had it with my new husband whilst overlooking the most beautiful expanse of lake. Le sigh.

Wow. I can't say enough great things about Beverly's, but I'm going to try my best! For starters, the location is beautiful at the Coeur D'Alene Resort. Ask for a table that overlooks the water - and if it's Christmas time, great views of the lights. This is a wonderful place for a romantic date, birthday celebration or anniversary celebration The orange rolls are to die for! Never tasted anything like these pastries filled with amazingness! Impressive wine list, impeccable customer service, fantastic menu including savory steaks, fresh fish and mouth watering sides -- what more could you ask for? I highly recommend Beverly's to any "foodie" or lover of Scotch and Wine! Scotch flights! I would give 6 stars if that was an option as Beverly's puts the nicest of restaurants in big cities like LA and NYC to shame with their ambiance and professionalism.

I was staying at the hotel for a conference, so I decided to get some dinner here. I had a salad and the "Fresh Spring Risotto" which was advertised to have locally foraged mushrooms, snap peas, Oregon shaved black truffles. A vegetarian dish, as I ordered none of the extras such as chicken or shrimp. Pros: The wait staff was pretty good. Service was attentive, prompt. I ordered a nice field green salad which was fairly fresh and the dressing was delicious. Cons: The risotto was completely mushy. I could not see a single grain of arborio rice within. It was pasty, sticky, WAY too salty. It looked like oatmeal I doubt that there were "fresh foraged mushrooms" in there, they tasted and the appearance was like re-hydrated mushrooms from a package. There were no Oregon black truffles as advertised. There were some white canned truffle shavings. There were no spring snap peas. There were frozen peas. I could not eat it due to the saltiness and the texture. I took 2 bites and sent it back. (after they let me sit for 20 minutes without checking on me) They took it off the bill, and asked me if I wanted to order off the menu again. By then, I was not interested in another try. The 2 star is for service, taking the charge off the bill, and the okay salad and the nice view. The $17.00 risotto was a bad choice. The waitress told me they are taking it off the menu because they cannot get it right. In a restaurant like this, they should be able to cook a decent risotto. Beverly's just does not deliver on expectations for the price.

Amazing, amazing, AMAZING! Service was fantastic, they offer you lemon, lime, or cucumber for your ice water. Classy. The main meal was like dessert so we never ordered dessert but they sounded fantastic! Deliciously cheesy sweet onion soup, wonderful appetizer of clams and mussels! Best clams I've ever had! And the halibut was to die for. The steak melted in my mouth. Just YUM!!!!

One word says it all AMAZING! After our pre-dinner drinks at Whispers Lounge, we made our way up to the 7th floor of the Coeur d'Alene"Alene resort to Beverly's. Our host/training instructor had recommended this place so we all made the collective decision to make the drive out to Idaho to try it out and I'm glad decided to go for it. The views from Beverly's offers a panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains. We got to enjoy the sunset while sipping on some Washington state Cabernet's. This location would be perfect for a romantic dinner date if you were in the area or from Coeur d'Alene as locals already know. Beverly's offers top notch service to complement the high-end dining experience. The decor was beautiful and at one point, I thought they were piping in music during dinner, but upon further review saw a musician sitting at the piano and rocking the mic with dinner music AND he was taking requests. Since we had a large group dining, we collectively decided to have 2 appetizers to share which consisted of Fried Calamari with a tasty aioli sauce along with the House Made Charcuterie. Both appetizers were wonderfully delicious. While noshing on the starters, I had a tough decision to make especially since I don't dine out very often at high end restaurants. Oh what to choose, Tenderloin of Beef or Bone-in Buffalo Ribeye...hmmm....Never had Buffalo Ribeye and had Beef Tenderloin a couple of days prior....Bone-In Buffalo Ribeye wins out! The Buffalo ribeye was cooked to medium-rare perfection with its taste enhanced by both red wines we had ordered: 2008 Columbia Crest Reserve - Cabernet Sauvignon and 2005 Shining Hill Cabernet. The meat was very lean and the next thing I knew, I had polished off the entire 16-ounces of buffalo perfection.. Oh so damn good!! If I could have finished another entree, i would have ordered another because it was THAT good! I still had enough room for dessert and order a caramel topped dessert which was overly salty BUT I balanced the saltiness with a Washington Wheat whiskey by the name of Dry Fly. Perfect ending to a great dinner! Service was top notch from the hostesses, servers, musician, and excellent recommendations from the wine sommelier! This place should be highly recommended and reviewed by everyone who sets foot in the restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Not impressed with Beverly's at all. This is the closest thing to a fancy restaurant in CDA and if you are used to fine dining you will be disappointed. Last time we dined here was for our anniversary and it was supposed to be a special evening. Half the people in that place were dressed very casual and seemed like they were eating in a diner that they hang out in all the time. We were there for a special evening and it ruined it. The prices were sky high too. I ordered lobster and it was raw and slimy, gross. The waiter asked if I wanted her to take it back and cook it more, haha that is laughable. You can't "re-cook" a lobster. wow. We do like the wine selection and that is amazing. I would recommend dockside for a glass of wine or desert but not a big fan of their food unfortunately. That is too bad because it should be a special place to go in an upscale environment but it really isn't. I hope they improve so we can go back.

I never thought I could spend so much on a meal... and have it taste twice as expensive. I ordered the Australian Rock Lobster at over 60 bucks, and had I known how good it would be, I might've been inclined to order a second. The views and atmosphere are basically as good as you're gonna get (that's how most of C'DA is anyways). The service isn't the fastest in the industry, but fast isn't always better. Enjoy Dockside, Die for Beverly's.

Over-Priced, Over-Rated HOTEL Food OK - Maybe that was harsh Beverly's was good, but nothing extraordinary at all and it was not worth what we paid for. The wine list is impressive, they get 5 stars for that, if you come when the sun is still up they have a great view - 5 stars for that, the service was exceptional 5 stars for that but the food was lacking, especially the desserts, just why do they have an Italian dessert menu - they are not an Italian restaurant. You money is better spent at other restaurants - so choose how you spend it wisely.

The first time I came to Coeur d'Alene was by fate, only to have a moment to stretch and grab lunch on my 30 hour journey cross-country. Located on the 7th floor of the Coeur d'Alene Resort, Beverly's boasts gorgeous panoramic views of the lake and mountains for you to enjoy with your glass of wine and meal. The wine collection is impressive, comparable to the selections at some of the best restaurants in Chicago, and the beautiful floor-to-ceiling cellars wind through the dining room and around to the front of the elevators. The food is creative, seasonly changing, and absolutely delish! You cannot go wrong with eating here, whatever you order... but if you love french onion soup, be sure to try Beverly's sweet onion soup. And can I just say... Orange marmalade rolls! YUUUUMMMM!!!

Considering the price range I was expecting the layout of the restaurant to be a bit more intimate. My initial impression was that it was kind of noisy in there. The food was spectacular; we started with the Fruit & Cheese plate (excellent variety of cheeses) and moved on to the Watermelon & Watercress salad and a cup of Sweet Onion soup - both were great. For dinner we had the Grilled Vegetable Napoleon and the special (Thai noodles of some kind, can't remember) and neither disappointed. Beverly's is known for it's $2.5 million wine selection. As you'd expect, the somalie was very knowledgeable and friendly. Also noteworthy is the view: witness the sun setting over Lake CDA in-between bites. Price-wise it's about what you'd expect for a restaurant of this caliber.

Expectations exceeded! Thumbs up! When friends who live in CDA suggested we kick off our visit with lunch at Beverly's, we were expecting a great view given the restaurant's location on the seventh floor of the CDA resort.. That we got for sure! Marvelous views of the lake and the activity there. Lunch at Beverly's provides that as entertainment. But, call us jaded, we weren't expecting much for either food or service, given this is a resort restaurant and we were visiting at the height of tourist season. What a delightful surprise to find service was very professional, from greet and seat through the entire meal service, and the food was darned good! All four of us ordered main dish salads and all were very good. In particular the Chicken Mediterranean that also included two pungent pesto spreads and hummus for the pita bread that accompanied the salad and the Vegetable Salad that included mixed greens, asparagus, cranberry chutney and a generously sized goat cheese crostini. At about $12 each, the salads (which came with either a Beverly's signature orange roll or a sourdough roll) would easily have fed two people. If we were eating at Beverly's again, my hubby and I would split a salad or entree (everything passing by seemed generously sized) so we would have room left to enjoy one of the great sounding and looking desserts. As our friends who live in CDA did for us, we recommend to Yelp readers that lunch at Beverly's is a great way to start a vacation in CDA! Lunch is more affordable than dinner, the views in daytime are spectacular, the food is very good and the service is excellent. Just be sure to make reservations and to save room for dessert! Two tips - the signage on how to get from the lobby to Beverly's isn't great, so be prepared to ask for directions - a couple of times! ;-) And while the Yelp header says attire is casual, this really means "resort casual" as the Beverly's web site describes it and not the t shirt and shorts you might wear lakeside.

They're super sticky and more fitting for dessert than a dinner roll. My ahi tuna was AMAZING though. My husband had the surf and turf and was amazed as well. Excellent service, great view, outstanding food. Pricey, but worth every penny.

Could not have been happier with my meal here after a long flight from Alabama. My raw oysters were flavorful (although I was surprised at the lack of finese of shucking). I went with our nice waiters choice- Chilliean Sea Bass with lobster mashed potato's. Yummy! My husband could not keep his fork out of my dish. He had the scallops and I felt the same about his. Worth the splurge for the food and view.

Everything was excellent! We had an early lunch at 11 am and the service was very nice. It's a beautiful restaurant with an amazing view. We got the Chef's trio for 20 dollars and a cheese plate for 10. It was arguably one of the best lunches I've ever had at a more up scale restaurant.

Had a very special meal at Beverly's! The "Diver Scallops" were as good as I have had anywhere and the "Ahi Tar tare" as an appetizer was delicatable. Most intersting was the view! A friend had called ahead and requested "your best table". Unfortunately for me he wasn't my wife........... It may have been the most romantic table and or room I have ever eaten in! They have a small private dining room with one round table that sits in what I would describe as a "touret" that is attached to the dining room, seven stories high, but makes you like your suspended over the lake with a 300 degree view of the lake and sunset. Spectacular!!!!! Second only to table #25 at Mama maria's in the North End of Boston as the most romantic dinining experience in the USA. Place can be a real "Gun Show!"

We went to Beverly's for lunch while staying in Couer D'Alene. Even though we did not have reservations, they seated us at a nice table overlooking the lake. The service was excellent. They immediately fixed a problem with our drink order (we ordered a top shelf cocktail, but were give the house gin.) For lunch, we enjoyed the calamari apetizer, it was lightly breaded and served with two interesting sauces. The portion could easily feed 3 mabye 4 people. Then the two us split a delicious Ahi tuna salad and crab and seafead stuffed large shell pasta covered with a rich and delicious lobster bisque sauce. Since this entree was so rich, it was perfect to spit it and share the entree sized salad. We were very happy with the entire experience. The prices were really not that bad for a 4 star restaurant. I highly recommend it.

1st question: Do the chefs ever taste the food? If they did, I highly doubt they would ever serve it. 2nd question: Do the chefs really think that mushroom risotto drenched in truffle oil is good food? I've read the other Yelpers and the common theme has been low expectations and "Well, what do you expect -- it's resort food." Since when has low expectations been an acceptable excuse for serving bad food -- ESPECIALLY when you're paying astronomically high prices for it all??? Let's start at the beginning ... We were a party of 8, so we had the chance to order several different things off the menu. Unfortunately, everything was awful. Salads were overdressed -- whether it was the harvest salad or the "classic" caesar -- they were more like wilted greens swimming in sauce. So many flavors and none of them went together -- chipotle and soy sauce slaw on calamari. (Refer back to the 1st question.) The two ribeyes we ordered had so much pepper on them, we had to scrape them off with knives. The medium rare came out medium well. The halibut also was severely overcooked and served over a bed of ice cold jasmine rice. The waiter brought back some replacement rice that was indeed piping hot -- along with the bowl, which is a tale-tell sign of nuking it in the microwave for a couple minutes. Nice move when you're spending more than $400 for a meal. Two in our party ordered the vegetarian option which was an array of root vegetables and mushroom risotto. (See 2nd question above.) The truffle oil in the risotto was so powerful, it taste like dirty socks. The best thing about the meal was the Bloody Mary and the waiter, who was really quite lovely -- and the only reason this review is getting any stars.

Welcome to recession times at Beverly's. This is good news for you, especially at lunchtime for they are offering a lunch "trio" for $20.00 and a lunch small sampler combination for $12.00. The sampler is best suited for people who are seeking a light bite and the trio is a very satisfying, three-course combination. I visited Beverly's a total of three times over this past Memorial Day weekend and had two lunches and one dinner. Their food and service were excellent. One of my lunch trios consisted of potato leek soup, a fish main course and a key lime custard sandwiched between two sugar cookies for dessert. I ordered the rack of venison for dinner ($42.00) and it was both plentiful and very tasty. This is a high-end restaurant that provides an excellent dining experience. If you go, you will feel like one of the tasters on Food Network's Iron Chef America and have a heavenly dining experience.

We hosted a private dinner here and I think it turned out pretty successful. They configured the tables exactly the way we wanted and custom made menus for our event. We started off with passed hors d'oeuvres including a shellfish tower (the king crab was so sweet), a mediterranean plate and a fruit and cheese plate (the combo of the sweet brie and pear was awesome). Then for dinner I chose the caesar salad instead of the walla walla sweet onion soup. Salad was good. Then for the entree, I chose the pan roasted alaskan day boat halibut (meaning it was caught that day) with a dungeness crab cake, fresh asparagus and fresh citrus beurre blanc. Super tasty. There was another dish that came with butternut squash risotto as a side and it looked really really good, but I didn't want to look like a pig, so I passed on it. For dessert, we had a sampler which included a mini creme brulee and three other mini cakes. Super rich but I tried maybe two of them and they were pretty good. All in all, I'd say it was pretty good. Better than I had expected. And that includes the service. The servers assigned to our party were really nice and helpful and friendly. I wouldn't mind coming back.

Omlord. This place is divine. The dim orange glow lighting and lake side views make this a perfect setting. I started out with a marchetti rosso red, and has a smorgasbord of apetizers. The Ahi tuna tartare and watermelon and watercress salad were delish, but what really tickled my palate was the dungeness crab cakes. Drizzled with lemon garlic ailoi, chili oil, and lemon zest, I was in heaven. Oh, and when the bread basket comes by with your choice of mild sourdough or signature sweet bread, please indulge in the orange glazed sweet bun. Your tastebuds will thank me.

The view is beautiful. The food is B grade, good but not great. Where this place falls is the service. Multiple visits always end in annoying disappointment with the service. Sitting at the bar, waitstaff hangs around but you sit and sit for 10 minutes waiting for service. Waiting for a table in a half empty restaurant, we are greeted by the hostess. The phone interrupts her and she answers it and makes us WAIT while she has a 3 minute conversation!! Its over before your rear end hits the seat. I give up.

Beautiful venue. Overlooking Lake Coeur d'alene, it's fine dining at its Northwest best. Our waiter was highly interested in our happiness. I wish I could remember his name (Fred?). He bent over backwards to get us some Lobster Bisque. I wasn't that impressed with it. It had little lobster (yes, I know its a bisque, but I like chunks in mine.) The main thing is that it was finished with way to much truffle oil. We started with that and Beverlys Calamari. One of the best Calamari I've had. It had a delightful seasoning salt and what I though was a light fish sauce dressing on it. Absolutely fabulous. I chose the Wedge Salad with a Grilled Scallop & Prawn Brochette. Scallops and and prawns were cooked perfectly, although I could have used a little more seasoning or some butter on them. Iceberg lettuce of course topped with Peppered Smoked Bacon, Blue Cheese, Grape Tomatoes, Candied Pecans, Red Onion, Toasted Sunflower Seeds, Green Onions, and House Roquefort Dressing. Grama (yes there is no d) had the Pacific Northwest Crab Melt Crab with Artichoke, Cream Cheese, Melted Cheddar, Fall Greens, & Lemon Garlic Aioli. Lovely she said. My mom had the Honolulu Fish Company #1 Sashimi Grade Ahi Tuna Black, Sesame Crusted with Jasmine Rice, Daikon Radish Sprouts, Pickled & Candied Ginger, Wasabi Aioli, & Soy Syrup. It was the first piece of rare fish for her. It looked fab, but she wasn't crazy about the texture. But that's a preference thing. I thought it looked amazing. Staffed with lots of beautiful young people, some more interested in taking our starting into space, it didn't effect the quality of our meal since we were well taken care of by our waiter. Gonna bring the hubby here next time and maybe stay in the hotel.

Beverly's was the location of our nice dinner for my boyfriend's birthday this past weekend. All the signs made it seem like the no-brainer best option: high-end steakhouse menu, great wine selection, best view in Coeur d'Alene...but in the end we were underwhelmed. We ordered the bison carpaccio for an appetizer, scallops and filet mignon for entrees, and got a free cotton candy/ice cream dessert for the birthday boy. The carpaccio was served with bread (which they forgot and had to bring later) and a whipped horseradish. I was excited about the idea because I love a little bit of spice, but I could barely discern any horseradish and felt like I was eating whipped butter with the under-seasoned Bison. The entrees were not warm when they came out, and the filet was overcooked (likely as a result of sitting too long as it waited to come out). They did take both entrees back and re-did them, but by then we were already a bit disillusioned by the whole ordeal. I think the best part of the main meal were the mashed potatoes on the side. I will definitely say that the cotton candy dessert is the most unique dessert I've seen, but I'm not a sugar lover and even though the bf is, it was sugar overload. In the end, I'm glad we had a chance to go to the resort because its views are second to none (unless you're on the actual lake). But if I were to pick a special birthday restaurant again, I'd go with The Cellar or another restaurant in town.

Truly a 5 star restaurant. The staff is just on top of their game. Arrived 20 min early for our reservations ( on a crowded weekend) NO WORRIES, some quick adjustments were made and we were promptly seated. Service was very prompt and polite. I swear, as soon as our forks were placed on the table in between each course, it took them no longer than 30 seconds to clear our plates. They walk around offering fresh bread ( I love warm bread and butter) you must try the signature orange glazed rolls. Oh. My. God. To die for. We ordered the kobe burger- juiciest burger I've had in a while. Served with killer fries Lobster bisque soup - while I personally don't like lobster, my husband finished off his bowl in mere seconds French onion soup - hands down the best french onion soup on the planet. I order this everywhere I go and now I feel I will be forever disappointed anywhere else I eat it. This is a nice restaurant on the resort. It featured beautiful views of the lake. They had an incredible three course dinner selection for only $28 if you arrive before 7pm. I imagine this deal is available only during the week. The service was attentive and friendly. Their wine list was so extensive that they had iPads for their list instead of a book. They have their own wine cellar and offer tours! I selected the three course meal, because it was an incredible deal and was cheaper than most of the dinner menu items! I started off with a Caesar Salad. It was perfection. They used Caesar dressing and oil. My entree was a huge portion of Salmon Oscar which was delicious. For dessert the chocolate raspberry dish. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.

From fantastic Martinez and even Pimms Cup in the lounge to beautifully played meals that taste as good as they look. The men yes light up and the wine lust is on an iPad. One of my favorite meals the entire stay in Coeur d'Alene! Service was impeccable. And the food was divine! Started off with a couple bottles of reds suggested by the sommelier. I'm not a huge wine drinker, but these were beyond amazing. Though the table was hesitant, we were urged by the waitress to try the bison carpaccio. So tasty. And that whipped horseradish foam was spectacular and so unexpectedly delicious! The crab cakes were equally yummy. I had a lobster bisque which was very rich and tasty with lots of lobster bits. For the main course I had the pan seared scallops with grilled veggies and a cauliflower mash. Very yummy. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side and I could have had more cauliflower. But overall a great experience!

I never thought I could spend so much on a meal... and have it taste twice as expensive. I ordered the Australian Rock Lobster at over 60 bucks, and had I known how good it would be, I might've been inclined to order a second. The views and atmosphere are basically as good as you're gonna get (that's how most of C'DA is anyways). The service isn't the fastest in the industry, but fast isn't always better. Enjoy Dockside, Die for Beverly's.

AMAZING! From presentation to taste, A+++ . I had the scallops over polenta which was amazing. I also took bites of a few deserts that looked and tasted like heaven. One word says it all AMAZING! After our pre-dinner drinks at Whispers Lounge, we made our way up to the 7th floor of the Coeur d'Alene"Alene resort to Beverly's. Our host/training instructor had recommended this place so we all made the collective decision to make the drive out to Idaho to try it out and I'm glad decided to go for it. The views from Beverly's offers a panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains. We got to enjoy the sunset while sipping on some Washington state Cabernet's. This location would be perfect for a romantic dinner date if you were in the area or from Coeur d'Alene as locals already know. Beverly's offers top notch service to complement the high-end dining experience. The decor was beautiful and at one point, I thought they were piping in music during dinner, but upon further review saw a musician sitting at the piano and rocking the mic with dinner music AND he was taking requests. Since we had a large group dining, we collectively decided to have 2 appetizers to share which consisted of Fried Calamari with a tasty aioli sauce along with the House Made Charcuterie. Both appetizers were wonderfully delicious. While noshing on the starters, I had a tough decision to make especially since I don't dine out very often at high end restaurants. Oh what to choose, Tenderloin of Beef or Bone-in Buffalo Ribeye...hmmm....Never had Buffalo Ribeye and had Beef Tenderloin a couple of days prior....Bone-In Buffalo Ribeye wins out! The Buffalo ribeye was cooked to medium-rare perfection with its taste enhanced by both red wines we had ordered: 2008 Columbia Crest Reserve - Cabernet Sauvignon and 2005 Shining Hill Cabernet. The meat was very lean and the next thing I knew, I had polished off the entire 16-ounces of buffalo perfection.. Oh so damn good!! If I could have finished another entree, i would have ordered another because it was THAT good! I still had enough room for dessert and order a caramel topped dessert which was overly salty BUT I balanced the saltiness with a Washington Wheat whiskey by the name of Dry Fly. Perfect ending to a great dinner! Service was top notch from the hostesses, servers, musician, and excellent recommendations from the wine sommelier! This place should be highly recommended and reviewed by everyone who sets foot in the restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Back in the 80s, my Dad worked as a food and beverage executive for hotel chains such as Hilton and Sheraton. Before you scoff, Wolfgang Puck consulted for Hilton before he opened Spago's. While the food wasn't cutting edge, all of these hotels had "occasion" restaurants that were known as places to have high end cuisine with excellent service in an attractive setting. From the slightly outdated menu, to the decor, to the service, Beverly's reminds me A LOT of those old school hotel restaurants. It's a fantastic place to go for a special occasion because they bend over backwards to make the experience feel special. Given how bad service can be in Idaho (everyone is friendly but attention to detail can fall by the wayside), I was particularly impressed by how well versed our waiter was on the menu and the care that was taken with every detail of service (beverages refilled, dirty plates removed right away, all the little things that can often be overlooked). I took my parents here as a Mother's Day treat (but on Saturday not Sunday because I'm not a masochist) and we were all pleasantly surprised. We all had seafood entrees and our food was perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients. As I mentioned before, the menu is slightly dated but if you're expecting cutting edge fine dining you've obviously not had much dining experience in Idaho. While I would never consider this restaurant if I were in, say, Los Angeles, I'll definitely be coming back here for special occasions. It may not offer the sensory cocoon of beauty and luxury that a truly world class restaurant provide but I'd say it gets the closest to it that I've had since moving to Idaho.

We hosted a private dinner here and I think it turned out pretty successful. They configured the tables exactly the way we wanted and custom made menus for our event. We started off with passed hors d'oeuvres including a shellfish tower (the king crab was so sweet), a mediterranean plate and a fruit and cheese plate (the combo of the sweet brie and pear was awesome). Then for dinner I chose the caesar salad instead of the walla walla sweet onion soup. Salad was good. Then for the entree, I chose the pan roasted alaskan day boat halibut (meaning it was caught that day) with a dungeness crab cake, fresh asparagus and fresh citrus beurre blanc. Super tasty. There was another dish that came with butternut squash risotto as a side and it looked really really good, but I didn't want to look like a pig, so I passed on it. For dessert, we had a sampler which included a mini creme brulee and three other mini cakes. Super rich but I tried maybe two of them and they were pretty good. All in all, I'd say it was pretty good. Better than I had expected. And that includes the service. The servers assigned to our party were really nice and helpful and friendly. I wouldn't mind coming back.

Went to Beverly's for lunch today. The view was beautiful and is one of the nicest in town. The service is great and the staff are very friendly. My friend ordered black coffee and the presentation is the fanciest I have ever seen for a cup of coffee. Definitely the 5 star environment but the food was lacking a 5 star taste. I ordered the Cesar Salad with Salmon. It was kind soggy and there were a few pieces of brown lettuce that weren't even edible. My salmon was extremely fishy tasting and I actually left most of it behind. My sourdough roll was hard and stale. I was really looking forward to lunch here but left extremely disappointed. I have visited other times for both lunch and dinner and have had a better experience.

I have eaten here several times for both lunch and dinner. It is one of the few places where every single cent spent is well worth it. An immaculate eating area, impeccable service, and food that is amazing. The best thing about this place is that they have a lunch menu that is very reasonably priced (similar to places like Applebee's or Chili's or Red Robin), but with the quality of food you would never find in those places. I was recently there was a work group, and I had the lamb gyro. AMAZING!!! Lamb can be gamey if not cooked correctly, but this was perfect. The tzaziki sauce was crisp and delightful, and the fries complemented the gyro. As usual, the service was excellent, and I walked away with a tab similar to what I would've found at Red Robin but with food that could only be found at a top-notch restaurant. Dinner can be pricey, but it is well worth it. However, if you are not ready to shell out the bucks for dinner, definitely try lunch, as it is easier on the wallet. We will be back here again.

My wife and I stayed at the resort for our anniversary, so we figured we had to try Beverly's. The restaurant is really beautiful with great views of the lake, and the staff is extremely pleasant. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. We started the meal with lobster mac & cheese, which was quite good. Our main courses, however, left something to be desired. My wife had the halibut, which was somewhat overcooked, and definitely under-spiced. I ordered the lamb, requesting medium-rare. It came out medium, almost well-done. When I mentioned this to my waiter, he told me that lamb is never pink, and never has a bloody center. This stands in stark contrast to every other time I've had a great piece of lamb. They were very gracious about the issue, and did prepare two more pieces for me. This time it came out blue. The lamb did come with a mint gastric that almost saved the mail, but not quite. For dessert we had three different types of sorbet and ice cream: Malibu rum and coconut, uncle Barry sorbet, and citrus sorbet. The dessert was quite good. Overall, we felt the food was much too expensive and not that well done. The saving grace was the friendly waitstaff and the ambience.

We had a really amazing dinner on Saturday night. It was my bday dinner with my wife and kids. Also, it was our waiter, Cory's, bday which was a cool coincidence. The meal was truly first-rate and we are all foodies. Brought our own wine (2008 Quilceda Creek Cab) and they happily served that to us. Yes, the view was amazing, but we felt that the food, service and vibe certainly matched it. It was a 5-star night. Highly recommend.

We had a reservation for two at 6:45 and were seated at 7pm. The table we were assigned was a small temporary table very near the kitchen. The location was fine but the table was very unstable with the table top easily rotating 6-8 inches with a small bump. For this reason we decided not to order an entrée that required cutting with a knife because we thought our wine & water might spill when we tried to cut a steak, for example. We started with appetizers of bison carpaccio and escargot and both were well presented with great tastes. My date ordered scallops and I ordered Chilean sea bass for our entrees. We also ordered a side of the scalloped potatoes and the mushroom risotto. My date loved her scallops and I agreed they were great after trying them. The scalloped potatoes and risotto were also excellent. Unfortunately, the Chilean sea bass was far below my expectations, so much so that I couldn't eat more than two bites. My date took a bite and agreed that it just didn't taste good. The fish had been cut into thin strips and fried which gave it the appearance of fish sticks. The taste was also very fishy, something that is very rare for Chilean sea bass. Typically, Chilean sea bass is served as a thick cut of flaky, white fish with little or no fishy taste. I'm not sure what happened to my dish, but it's obviously something I wouldn't order again. Although I live in Nashville TN, I visit CDA quite often and have dined at Beverly's many times over the past several years. This meal was by far my worst experience. I did advise our server that I wouldn't recommend that dish to anyone. I try to provide honest feedback when my meals exceed or fall short of my expectations.

So we made a reservation.... For party of 9... Good is taking forever! Come to find out there a meeting in a board room or a board meeting? Guess that's why it's taking so long. Point is we have been filling up on bread and drinks for the past 40 minutes... Time is around 12:00 on a Saturday. (Update "50" minutes.). Very friendly and accommodating staff though . This resort restaurant is the closets you will get to 5 star dining in the area... Although it's lacking in a few aspects I.e. Tucked away in a corner of the resort and the outsmarted hallway down the hall. So basically you have to leave the restaurant and walk down the hall to go to bathroom?... Something I would fix.

Beverly's is trying hard to be a high end restaurant and I think for the area it probably is, but compared to other restaurants I've dined at, this one falls a little short. It has a very friendly staff and good service, and an excellent wine list, but the food lacked flavor. The charcuterie appetizer was fun, though, filled with quail prosciutto, bison sausage and elk jerky and all was very flavorful. But the chicken oscar was just so-so and the asparagus and mashed potatoes had no flavor. The dining room itself is due for a remodel but I still enjoyed my evening there because of the beautiful views of the lake and friendly service.

For our honeymoon, we did a road trip through the Pacific Northwest, which included a stop at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. So as everyone's mentioned: the view, the view, the view. It was a classy white tablecloth kind of place yet not stuffy. The Caesar salad was flavorful, light and satisfying. However, the real star of the show is their signature orange rolls served when you sit down. That first bite may be one of my most favorite bites in my whole life. For one, it completely took me by surprise. I thought I was biting into a rudimentary croissant, and then BAM! Yummy goodness overload. Sweet and citrusy, flaky and gooey. And I had it with my new husband whilst overlooking the most beautiful expanse of lake. Le sigh.

Wow. I can't say enough great things about Beverly's, but I'm going to try my best! For starters, the location is beautiful at the Coeur D'Alene Resort. Ask for a table that overlooks the water - and if it's Christmas time, great views of the lights. This is a wonderful place for a romantic date, birthday celebration or anniversary celebration The orange rolls are to die for! Never tasted anything like these pastries filled with amazingness! Impressive wine list, impeccable customer service, fantastic menu including savory steaks, fresh fish and mouth watering sides -- what more could you ask for? I highly recommend Beverly's to any "foodie" or lover of Scotch and Wine! Scotch flights! I would give 6 stars if that was an option as Beverly's puts the nicest of restaurants in big cities like LA and NYC to shame with their ambiance and professionalism.

I was staying at the hotel for a conference, so I decided to get some dinner here. I had a salad and the "Fresh Spring Risotto" which was advertised to have locally foraged mushrooms, snap peas, Oregon shaved black truffles. A vegetarian dish, as I ordered none of the extras such as chicken or shrimp. Pros: The wait staff was pretty good. Service was attentive, prompt. I ordered a nice field green salad which was fairly fresh and the dressing was delicious. Cons: The risotto was completely mushy. I could not see a single grain of arborio rice within. It was pasty, sticky, WAY too salty. It looked like oatmeal I doubt that there were "fresh foraged mushrooms" in there, they tasted and the appearance was like re-hydrated mushrooms from a package. There were no Oregon black truffles as advertised. There were some white canned truffle shavings. There were no spring snap peas. There were frozen peas. I could not eat it due to the saltiness and the texture. I took 2 bites and sent it back. (after they let me sit for 20 minutes without checking on me) They took it off the bill, and asked me if I wanted to order off the menu again. By then, I was not interested in another try. The 2 star is for service, taking the charge off the bill, and the okay salad and the nice view. The $17.00 risotto was a bad choice. The waitress told me they are taking it off the menu because they cannot get it right. In a restaurant like this, they should be able to cook a decent risotto. Beverly's just does not deliver on expectations for the price.

Excellent meal at Beverly's! We were at the resort for our anniversary and we started with the Oysters Rockefeller. These were outstanding. I could eat several plates of these. I had the scallops which were cooked very well and came in a rich sauce. Also, very well prepared. My husband had the filet. He loved it. We got a side of mac and cheese too which was so tasty. Just a great experience and excellent food. We will be back.

The steak was mediocre at best, for the price. Our server seemed non existent for the most part, and we even had to flag someone else down after seated for 20 mins, and ask her to please tell our server we would like to order. He never checked on us, wasn't rude, but wasn't polite either,,, just going through the motions. He sure perked up and got super friendly when he brought the check though.... that's why he got the $1 tip. Not going back.... I've been there a few times, and it's just not worth the price. If you really want a great steak and good service, head on out to Wolf Lodge or even Texas Roadhouse.... at least you will leave there with a smile.

Worst salad and appetizer I have ever had. We had the bison and red candy stripe salad. Lacked flavors and what flavor it did have, they did not blend well. Too much goat cheese on the salad and wilted greens. The horseradish "foam" lacked heat and the bread tasted old. The only thing you're paying for is the ambiance. I would not come back unless it was strictly for drinks during happy hour.

We (my wife and I and our out of town guests) went there for dinner and were surprised how unimpressive it was! We had a reservation, arrived right on time, and had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Strike 1. In the meantime, they shuffled us into the lounge where each person played the 20 question game to place a simple order of 3 drinks and a bottle of beer. Strike 2. Once we finally got to our table, the young lady who greeted us was very pleasant and actually the best part of the experience, even though she was just charged with filling our water glasses and clearing the dishes. The waiter finally came to the table and had an attitude right off the bat - we all looked at each in amazement and silently decided this dude was not going to spoil our evening. We ordered a bottle of wine - but the wine steward came over to tell us they were out of that wine and offered "his choice" for us. What? How can a place like the almighty Beverly's be out of wine? The wine list is as thick as a novel, how can this be? "His choice" is not what was ordered, so no wine for us. Strike 3. Well, as eyeryone knows, 3 strikes you are out, but we stayed, again, deciding that we are going to make the best of this. We enjoyed the Christmas lights adorning the docks and the occasional visit from the young lady filling our water glasses, while we waited for our food. The food was okay, certainly far from being great. The fish was "fishy" and the steaks were tough. Half of our dinners were boxed up and brought home for the dog. We didn't stick around for dessert - we had had enough by that time. Let's save the next 3 hour tour for a boat ride, not an unpleasant experience at Beverly's.

We went to this restaurant primarily due to the fact that they have the largest wine selection supposedly in the whole Pacific Northwest. I did the Syrah wine flight which was quite good. The grenache was superb and the wine flight really adds up closer to 2 glasses of wine rather than just the typically thirds equating to one glass. So the wine flights are really a good value. Their entrees were prepared well and had exhibited a decent amount of creativity and diversity in the presentation and flavors. I had their wild salmon special which was excellent under the tasty ancho lime butter. The service we received was top-notch from the bussing to the serving. The only downside to the place is that it does feel like a typical hotel restaurant. The decor is stuck in the mid 90's but the view of the lake helps you forget that. Honestly, if they just updated their chairs and tables it would make such a difference to making the place seem more updated.

Beautiful view and the bison carpaccio was amazing but... In the middle of our conversation, while enjoying the delicious bison and jumbo prawn and crab appetizers, the server showed up with our entrees and took away our appetizer plates and forks and left the appetizer dishes. I would've expected better timing from such a higher scale and pricier establishment... We found it odd that a couple sitting in booth who had been ordered about five minutes before us was still enjoying their appetizers when we started into our lukewarm grilled prime rib and lobster... Honestly, there was no way that we were having a marathon of an appetizer course... Maybe 30 minutes into our martini, then bread, then wine and appetizers when our forks and plates were taken away. I think the worse part was when the server rolled her eyes and seemed annoyed when we tried to explain that we would like to get some appetizer forks and plates to finish our appetizers, which was clearly only about half done. The manager came out to apologize (probably because the server mentioned something) and said that they would credit the appetizers, which was nice. All in all, great food (5 stars) and view (5 stars) but the service (at least our server, 2 stars, kinda saved by the mgr coming out) was a bit uncomfortable and lacking.

My boyfriend and I were just there last night for Valentine's Day dinner and I have to say it was outstanding! Our waiter Chase, was SO helpful and knew his stuff!!! He was on top of it. What a view! Went to Beverly's for lunch on a weekday and the restaurant had a good size crowd, but we still managed to get a window table. The restaurant has mulitiple levels so I guess every seat in the room offers a great view of the lake. We started with Fried Calamari - nicely seasned, served with crispy rice noodles and two dipping sauces. The Prawn Cocktail came with three large pieces, but the wasabi cocktail sauce was the best part. We were offered a platter of assorted breads and we chose their signature Orange Bread - Wow... flaky rolls doused in a sticky citrus sauce. Yum. We ordered the Snake River Farms Kobe Beef Burger served with house-made pickles, French fries (in a copper pot), smoked bacon and aged Hook's cheddar cheese (very sharp flavor). We ordered it medium, but it came well done (it was still juicy). The Tempura Halibut, their version of fish n' chips was served with fresh fruit, French fries (again, in a copper pot) and two sauces. The Alaskan halibut was fresh and the batter was nice and crispy, but not greasy. Service was great. Our server was on point and very pleasant. Oh, one nice touch - the busser comes to your table and offers you a choice of lemon, lime or cucumber for your iced water.

My husband and I had dinner at Beverly's in the lounge. We know there was a beautiful view outside from previous visits but tonight it was dark and pouring rain. Jonathan was our bartender and server. The food was very good. I had the french onion soup which was excellent. My husband had the filet steak with a loaded baked potato. He loved it! What topped it off was our dessert. We ordered a huckleberry sorbet and Jonathan brought a sorbet trio along with a beautiful crown of blue spun cotton candy with vanilla ice-cream and a candle inside. The whole thing glowed and was the most beautiful, fun dessert I've ever had!! Thank you Jonathan for a very nice evening.

Both times that we've been out to Coeur d'Alene, we have dined at Beverly's. I think our favorite item on the menu is the french onion soup w/ gruyere cheese. Soooo yummy!!! We didn't think our entrees were as flavorful, our second visit - but the atmosphere, the view, the wait staff and the extensive wine list, all make for a lovely dining experience! ...and their signature orange rolls are a hit!

Not impressed with Beverly's at all. This is the closest thing to a fancy restaurant in CDA and if you are used to fine dining you will be disappointed. Last time we dined here was for our anniversary and it was supposed to be a special evening. Half the people in that place were dressed very casual and seemed like they were eating in a diner that they hang out in all the time. We were there for a special evening and it ruined it. The prices were sky high too. I ordered lobster and it was raw and slimy, gross. The waiter asked if I wanted her to take it back and cook it more, haha that is laughable. You can't "re-cook" a lobster. wow. We do like the wine selection and that is amazing. I would recommend dockside for a glass of wine or desert but not a big fan of their food unfortunately. That is too bad because it should be a special place to go in an upscale environment but it really isn't. I hope they improve so we can go back.

The first time I came to Coeur d'Alene was by fate, only to have a moment to stretch and grab lunch on my 30 hour journey cross-country. The second time was with full purpose and intention, to relish in this town I had fallen so deeply in love with my first time. Coeur d'Alene is a town of perfection hidden in the mountains of Idaho. Never before had I considered Idaho as a place I'd spend a significant portion of my life, until I passed through Coeur' d'Alene. I'd love to have a summer home or retire here one day. It is beautiful, with a massive blue lake that shimmers with the sun's golden rays, surrounded by humble mountains, and a charming town that has all of a good life's necessities... Beverly's included. I found Beverly's via Yelp, thank you my fellow yelpers, in addition to the positive feedback of some lovely locals I found on my leisurely stroll along the lake. Located on the 7th floor of the Coeur d'Alene Resort, Beverly's boasts gorgeous panoramic views of the lake and mountains for you to enjoy with your glass of wine and meal. The wine collection is impressive, comparable to the selections at some of the best restaurants in Chicago, and the beautiful floor-to-ceiling cellars wind through the dining room and around to the front of the elevators. The food is creative, seasonly changing, and absolutely delish! You cannot go wrong with eating here, whatever you order... but if you love french onion soup, be sure to try Beverly's sweet onion soup. And can I just say... Orange marmalade rolls! YUUUUMMMM!!!

There are few restaurants in the world where a dinner is actually worth over one hundred dollars -- perhaps well over -- but Beverly's is one. This restaurant offers very good food, a stupendous wine list and attentive service in very pleasant surroundings with a stunning seventh-floor view of Lake Coeur d'Alene. If you cannot afford a dinner, go for lunch. You'll pay sixty or seventy dollars for two and you'll be glad you did.

Expectations exceeded! Thumbs up! When friends who live in CDA suggested we kick off our visit with lunch at Beverly's, we were expecting a great view given the restaurant's location on the seventh floor of the CDA resort.. That we got for sure! Marvelous views of the lake and the activity there. Lunch at Beverly's provides that as entertainment. But, call us jaded, we weren't expecting much for either food or service, given this is a resort restaurant and we were visiting at the height of tourist season. What a delightful surprise to find service was very professional, from greet and seat through the entire meal service, and the food was darned good! All four of us ordered main dish salads and all were very good. In particular the Chicken Mediterranean that also included two pungent pesto spreads and hummus for the pita bread that accompanied the salad and the Vegetable Salad that included mixed greens, asparagus, cranberry chutney and a generously sized goat cheese crostini. At about $12 each, the salads (which came with either a Beverly's signature orange roll or a sourdough roll) would easily have fed two people. If we were eating at Beverly's again, my hubby and I would split a salad or entree (everything passing by seemed generously sized) so we would have room left to enjoy one of the great sounding and looking desserts. As our friends who live in CDA did for us, we recommend to Yelp readers that lunch at Beverly's is a great way to start a vacation in CDA! Lunch is more affordable than dinner, the views in daytime are spectacular, the food is very good and the service is excellent. Just be sure to make reservations and to save room for dessert! Two tips - the signage on how to get from the lobby to Beverly's isn't great, so be prepared to ask for directions - a couple of times! ;-) And while the Yelp header says attire is casual, this really means "resort casual" as the Beverly's web site describes it and not the t shirt and shorts you might wear lakeside.

One of the best meals I've ever had, hands down. I wasn't as big of a fan of the orange rolls and some people are on these reviews, though. They're super sticky and more fitting for dessert than a dinner roll. My ahi tuna was AMAZING though. My husband had the surf and turf and was amazed as well. Excellent service, great view, outstanding food. Pricey, but worth every penny.

Could not have been happier with my meal here after a long flight from Alabama. My raw oysters were flavorful (although I was surprised at the lack of finese of shucking). I went with our nice waiters choice- Chilliean Sea Bass with lobster mashed potato's. Yummy! My husband could not keep his fork out of my dish. He had the scallops and I felt the same about his. Worth the splurge for the food and view.

Everything was excellent! We had an early lunch at 11 am and the service was very nice. It's a beautiful restaurant with an amazing view. We got the Chef's trio for 20 dollars and a cheese plate for 10. It was arguably one of the best lunches I've ever had at a more up scale restaurant.

Had a very special meal at Beverly's! The "Diver Scallops" were as good as I have had anywhere and the "Ahi Tar tare" as an appetizer was delicatable. Most intersting was the view! A friend had called ahead and requested "your best table". Unfortunately for me he wasn't my wife........... It may have been the most romantic table and or room I have ever eaten in! They have a small private dining room with one round table that sits in what I would describe as a "touret" that is attached to the dining room, seven stories high, but makes you like your suspended over the lake with a 300 degree view of the lake and sunset. Spectacular!!!!! Second only to table #25 at Mama maria's in the North End of Boston as the most romantic dinining experience in the USA. Place can be a real "Gun Show!"

We went to Beverly's for lunch while staying in Couer D'Alene. Even though we did not have reservations, they seated us at a nice table overlooking the lake. The service was excellent. They immediately fixed a problem with our drink order (we ordered a top shelf cocktail, but were give the house gin.) For lunch, we enjoyed the calamari apetizer, it was lightly breaded and served with two interesting sauces. The portion could easily feed 3 mabye 4 people. Then the two us split a delicious Ahi tuna salad and crab and seafead stuffed large shell pasta covered with a rich and delicious lobster bisque sauce. Since this entree was so rich, it was perfect to spit it and share the entree sized salad. We were very happy with the entire experience. The prices were really not that bad for a 4 star restaurant. I highly recommend it.

1st question: Do the chefs ever taste the food? If they did, I highly doubt they would ever serve it. 2nd question: Do the chefs really think that mushroom risotto drenched in truffle oil is good food? I've read the other Yelpers and the common theme has been low expectations and "Well, what do you expect -- it's resort food." Since when has low expectations been an acceptable excuse for serving bad food -- ESPECIALLY when you're paying astronomically high prices for it all??? Let's start at the beginning ... We were a party of 8, so we had the chance to order several different things off the menu. Unfortunately, everything was awful. Salads were overdressed -- whether it was the harvest salad or the "classic" caesar -- they were more like wilted greens swimming in sauce. So many flavors and none of them went together -- chipotle and soy sauce slaw on calamari. (Refer back to the 1st question.) The two ribeyes we ordered had so much pepper on them, we had to scrape them off with knives. The medium rare came out medium well. The halibut also was severely overcooked and served over a bed of ice cold jasmine rice. The waiter brought back some replacement rice that was indeed piping hot -- along with the bowl, which is a tale-tell sign of nuking it in the microwave for a couple minutes. Nice move when you're spending more than $400 for a meal. Two in our party ordered the vegetarian option which was an array of root vegetables and mushroom risotto. (See 2nd question above.) The truffle oil in the risotto was so powerful, it taste like dirty socks. The best thing about the meal was the Bloody Mary and the waiter, who was really quite lovely -- and the only reason this review is getting any stars.

Welcome to recession times at Beverly's. This is good news for you, especially at lunchtime for they are offering a lunch "trio" for $20.00 and a lunch small sampler combination for $12.00. The sampler is best suited for people who are seeking a light bite and the trio is a very satisfying, three-course combination. I visited Beverly's a total of three times over this past Memorial Day weekend and had two lunches and one dinner. Their food and service were excellent. One of my lunch trios consisted of potato leek soup, a fish main course and a key lime custard sandwiched between two sugar cookies for dessert. I ordered the rack of venison for dinner ($42.00) and it was both plentiful and very tasty. This is a high-end restaurant that provides an excellent dining experience. If you go, you will feel like one of the tasters on Food Network's Iron Chef America and have a heavenly dining experience.

Considering the price range I was expecting the layout of the restaurant to be a bit more intimate. My initial impression was that it was kind of noisy in there. The food was spectacular; we started with the Fruit & Cheese plate (excellent variety of cheeses) and moved on to the Watermelon & Watercress salad and a cup of Sweet Onion soup - both were great. For dinner we had the Grilled Vegetable Napoleon and the special (Thai noodles of some kind, can't remember) and neither disappointed. Beverly's is known for it's $2.5 million wine selection. As you'd expect, the somalie was very knowledgeable and friendly. Also noteworthy is the view: witness the sun setting over Lake CDA in-between bites. Price-wise it's about what you'd expect for a restaurant of this caliber.

Over-Priced, Over-Rated HOTEL Food OK - Maybe that was harsh Beverly's was good, but nothing extraordinary at all and it was not worth what we paid for. The wine list is impressive, they get 5 stars for that, if you come when the sun is still up they have a great view - 5 stars for that, the service was exceptional 5 stars for that but the food was lacking, especially the desserts, just why do they have an Italian dessert menu - they are not an Italian restaurant. You money is better spent at other restaurants - so choose how you spend it wisely.

Omlord. This place is divine. The dim orange glow lighting and lake side views make this a perfect setting. I started out with a marchetti rosso red, and has a smorgasbord of apetizers. The Ahi tuna tartare and watermelon and watercress salad were delish, but what really tickled my palate was the dungeness crab cakes. Drizzled with lemon garlic ailoi, chili oil, and lemon zest, I was in heaven. Oh, and when the bread basket comes by with your choice of mild sourdough or signature sweet bread, please indulge in the orange glazed sweet bun. Your tastebuds will thank me.

The view is beautiful. The food is B grade, good but not great. Where this place falls is the service. Multiple visits always end in annoying disappointment with the service. Sitting at the bar, waitstaff hangs around but you sit and sit for 10 minutes waiting for service. Waiting for a table in a half empty restaurant, we are greeted by the hostess. The phone interrupts her and she answers it and makes us WAIT while she has a 3 minute conversation!! Its over before your rear end hits the seat. I give up.

I'll start by saying BEST food in CDA. Had no reservation but were immediately offer a seat and to eat in the lounge (we're lounge kinda people). Grabbed it and so glad we did! Josselyn, our server was upbeat, obviously liked/loved her job (rare these days for a Millennial) and helped make our evening! Try the Bison Carpaccio and the Heirloom Tomato Caprese Salad. Filet was excellent. The only complaint? And not even worth messing with the 5 stars? The bathrooms are HELL to find. Will go here again, and again...and again!

It was a very beautiful location and a great family dinner location. The sourdough rolls were good. The orange rolls are good if you feel like starting with dessert. I wasn't in the mood at the time. I enjoyed the huckleberry lemon drop. It was great. The bison was good as was the tempura prawns. The calamari was just ok. The Beverly signature fillets were very good as was the scallops but I wished more scallops were included and I wasn't a big fan of the sides. The lobster mac was good not great but the German chocolate cake was fabulous! The Szechwan carrot soup was the highlight for me and one of the best soups i have ever had.

The only 5 Star restaurant in Couer d'Alene makes you feel special the second you get off of the 7th floor elevator of the beautiful Couer d'Alene Resort. [cdaresort.com] We had a beautiful seating facing the lake at sunset and TWO FANTASTIC waiters (Thank you Greg & Will) working hard to serve our every need. We were blown away by our delicious steak brochette appetizer and 3 accompanying specialty dipping options (bernaise sauce, cabernet reduction, & smoked truffle salt) but, nothing could compare to our AMAZING entrees: Ahi & Halibut. WOW! We discussed wine pairing for our main dishes and Greg brought out the wine steward Sam-- who was incredibly proud of "the largest wine selection" of the Inland empire, and he was very knowledgeable! We received a wonderful bottle of wine that both complimented & enhanced our meal. To top off the evening, rockstar Chef de Cuisine Tyler Schwenk came and sat with us! He was gracious as we regaled him with compliments and he shared recipes and both his passion & search for the best he could cook. Super impressive young chef! We loved everything about Beverly's and it is deserving of the highest accolades & recognition it receives for its service, ambiance, food quality, preparation, taste, & enjoyment. We are looking forward to the next time we travel back across the Northwest, if only to land at Beverly's again!

Planned a special dinner here after a week of vacation in the Northwest. Waiter forgot our order and had to return and get it again. Door to a private deck behind our table kept opening which caused a major windstorm at our table about every five minutes. Manager sat at a booth behind us on his laptop during the meal. When a waitress slid in next to him to complain about her being assigned to an upcoming wedding I walked out. Waiter couldn't figure out what the problem was. Good food but this not a five star experience by any stretch of the imagination.

The food was awesome, I came in for lunch and had the prime rib melt with fresh morrells. It was a great portion and was cooked perfectly w the cheese gooing in with the fresh earthy morrells.The down side is that it took 1/2 hour to get to the table and as I sit here writing, waiting for my check it's been 1:20 since I sat down. Maybe not the best choice for lunch?
